Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-96 Aqu-ward to the stem of MB-1420 6" Mushroom. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-77 Glo Worm to the underside of the mushroom cap on MB-1420 6" Mushroom. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of CG-974 Bloomin Blue to the top of the mushroom cap on MB-1420 6" Mushroom. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats. On the 3rd coat, apply crystals towards the top for more movement/crystal formation.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 heavy coat of SC-96 Aqu-ward to the underside of the mushroom cap on MB-1419 8" Mushroom. After glaze has lost its shine, wipe away the majority of SC-96 Aqu-ward with BT-910 Synthetic Sponge, leaving color in creases.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-94 Curry Around to the stem of MB-1419 8" Mushroom. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of CG-954 Wildfire to the top of the mushroom cap on MB-1419 8" Mushroom. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats. On the 3rd coat, apply crystals towards the top for more movement/crystal formation.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 heavy coat of SC-34 Down to Earth to the body of MB-1417 Snail Box. After glaze has lost its shine, wipe away the majority of SC-34 Down to Earth with BT-910 Synthetic Sponge, leaving color in creases and divits.
- Using CB-604 #4 Soft Fan and/or CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 2 coats of SC-97 Cant-elope to the underside of the body of MB-1417 Snail Box
- Using CB-604 #4 and/or CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 coat of SC-27 Sour Apple to the upperside of the snail's body.
- Using CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, apply 1 heavy coat of SC-6 Sunkissed to the outter edge of the eyes on MB-1417 Snail Box.
- Using CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, apply SC-15 Tuxedo to fill in the pupils of the eyes.
- Using CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, apply dots of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the eyes.
- Using CB-604 #4, apply 3 coats of SC-14 Java Bean to the shell of MB-1417 Snail Box. Allow glaze to lose its shine between coats.
- Using CB-110 #10/0 Mini Liner, apply 1 heavy coat of SC-34 Down to Earth to the spiral crease of the shell of MB-1714 Snail Box.
- Fire to shelf cone 06/05.
