Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, Trace the pattern onto the piece.
- With the SA-002 Black Accent, outline and detail the design.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner and a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 2 puddle coats of CG-713 Peacock Green spreading out the crystal to the body, neck and head of the Peacock.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply a puddle coat of CG-718 Caprice Blue to the feathers on the back of the Peacock.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply a puddle coat of CG-793 Beach Pebbles to the outside ring of the tail feathers.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply a puddle coat of SC-11 Blue Yonder to the next ring on the tail feather, to the head feathers and a thin coat to the eye.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply a puddle coat of SC-33 Fruit of the Vine to the center ring on the tail feathers and to the top three head feathers.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply a puddle coat of SC-42 Butter Me Up to the beak and apply 1 brushed coat to outer ring of the tail feathers over the CG-793 Beach Pebbles.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan and a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of EL-130 Sea Green to the background of the piece. (You can go over the SA-002 Black Accent on the tail feathers and legs). Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
