Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 White to the top of the plate.
- With ½” Masking Tape, tape off ⅔rds of the plate to divide the plate.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of SC-90 Elephant Ears to the larger taped side of the plate. Allow to dry.
- With ½” Masking Tape, apply the tape over the SC-90 Elephant Ears section to block off that side
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of SC-46 Rawhide on the remaining side.
- When partially dry or dry, lay on the leaf stencil, hold down with one hand then roll over the stencil with the 2” foam roller with SC-90 Elephant Ears darkened with some of the SG-406 Brown Designer Liner for the color to roll on.
- Sketch on the Queen Anne’s Lace design
- Using the SG-406 Brown Designer Liner for the design in the foreground.
- Use SG-402 White Designer Liner for the remainder of the Queen Anne’s Lace. Allow to dry.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 coat of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to the top of the plate.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-90 Elephant Ears to the back of the plate. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 05/06.
