Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- With AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace the provided pattern along the edge of each bisque piece. On SB-108 Contemporary Mug, trace image under the flared lip.
- With CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply three coats of SW-106 Alabaster to the inside of SB-108 Contemporary Mug and the back of the other three pieces, SB-104 Rimmed Salad Plate, SB-105 Rimmed Dinner Plate and SB-121 Serving Boat. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats.
- Using SG-408 Orange, trace the center lines of each flower. Also trace the scalloped boarder image as well as the image on SB-121 Serving Boat using SG-408 Orange.
- Using SG-410 Bright Blue, trace the lines of all flower petals.
- Using SG-409 Bright Green, apply dots along the outer edge of the flower petals and along the top and bottom of the scalloped boarder.
- Allow to dry completely.
- With CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply two coats of SW-001 Clear to the exterior of SB-108 Contemporary Mug (including the handle). Also apply two coats of SW-001 Clear to the top of SB-104 Rimmed Salad Plate, SB-105 Rimmed Dinner Plate and SB-121 Serving Boat. Allow glaze to dry completely between coats.
- Moisten a BT-910 Synthetic Sponge and wipe off any excess glaze off the foot of the plates and mug as well as the feet of the serving bowl.
- Place all pieces on a high-fired, kiln washed kiln shelf.
- Do not stilt or hang over the kiln shelf. Fire to cone 5/6.
