Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- With CB-604 Soft Fan, brush Brush FN-221 Milk Glass White starting in the center of the bisque, in a clockwise direction.
- Tip: Using a banding wheel when applying glazes for best results.
To give a gradient effect to the colors, dip half of the CB-604 Soft Fan brush in Brush FN-221 Milk Glass White and the other half in FN-230 Poppy. With the FN-230 Poppy side of the brush on the edge, brush in a clockwise direction around the top edge of the bisque. Allow glaze to dry between coats. Apply 3-4 coats.
- Tip: Use a banding wheel when applying glazes for best results.
- With CB-604 Soft Fan, brush FN-230 Poppy along the edge of the bisque. Allow glaze to dry between coats. Apply 3 coats.
- With a palette knife, thicken SC-81 Cinnamon Stix with AC-310 Silkscreen Medium to the consistency of peanut butter.
- Use the medium tree from DSS-111 Botanical Trees and screen three (or more) trees in different locations. With your finger, rub the thickened SC-81 Cinnamon Stix on the grain side of the screen. Repeat process to screen additional trees.
- Rinse screen in water and lay flat to dry.
- With a palette knife, thicken SC-15 Tuxedo with AC-30 Silkscreen Medium to the consistency of peanut butter.
- Use the heron from DSS-109 Aviary Large Birds and screen, aligning centrally over the trees. With your finger, rub the thickened SC-15 Tuxedo on the grain side of the screen.
- Rince screen in water and lay flat to dry.
- Fire cone 05/06.
