Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 White to the top of the plate.
- Cut out the flower shape from the pattern, re-wet the surface with water for the placement of the flower, place the paper flower on the plate, then press with a paper towel to remove excess water.
- Squirt some SC-6 Sunkissed, SC-11 Blue Yonder and SC-93 Honeydew List into small cups. Add some SC-16 Cotton Tail into the SC-11 Blue Yonder and SC-6 Sunkissed, mix together this is to slightly lighten the colors.
- Add a little water to each of the glazes, then suck up some of SC-6 Sunkissed with the syringe (without the metal tip), pull the syringe back to give it more pressure, place the plate in a sink or a box, then squirt the color on the plate, move the syringe as you squirt the color from it. Note: no need to clean between each color.
- Repeat squirting with the SC-11 Blue Yonder then SC-93 Honeydew List.
- Remove the paper flower before the color dries.
- Pencil in the center of the flower.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, brush stroke in the petals with SC-11 Blue Yonder, applying 2 coats.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-16 Cotton Tail to the center of the flower.
- Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick load the sponge with SC-15 Tuxedo. Tap the SC-15 Tuxedo onto the ST-343 Deco Circle Stamp then press the stamp gently stamping the center of the flower. Allow to dry.
- When the SC-11 Blue Yonder has dried on the flower, use SG-401 Black Designer Liner to quickly outline the petals.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3-4 coats of FN-042 Teal Blue to the back of the plate. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 05/06.
