Instructions
Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
Happy Fathers Day Ornament
- With a pencil and AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper, trace on the pattern or sketch your own.
- Using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2-3 coats of SC-15 Tuxedo to the mustache and the side edge of the bottle cap.
- With the SG-403 Red Designer Liner, outline the 'Happy Father’s Day' words.
- With the SG-404 Blue Designer Liner, outline the 'Father’s Day' words an add dots around the top edge of the bottle cap. Allow to dry.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to the bottle cap or dip in Clear Glaze of choice. Allow to dry.
Dad Ornament
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 1 thinned coat of SC-30 Blue Dawn. Avoid brush marks by making sure the color is thin enough to cove in 1 coat. Allow to dry.
- Using the AC-213 Sponge on a Stick load the sponge with SC-12 Moody Blue. Tap the SC-12 Moody Blue onto the ST-343 Deco Circles Stamp then press the stamp gently onto the piece. Allow to dry.
- Pencil the word 'Dad' on to the piece.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, Detail the word 'Dad' with SC-15 Tuxedo. Allow to dry.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing to the bottle cap or dip in Clear Glaze of choice. Allow to dry.
