Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 White to the top side of the heart dish. Allow to dry.
- Apply a 3rd coat of FN-001 White and immediately lay the flatter side of the paper doily into the wet color. Smooth with fingers, then take a rubber squeegee and starting from the center to the edges, press over the paper doily flattening into the FN-001 White.
- Apply another thin coat of FN-001 White.
- When somewhat dry, using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of SC-74 Hot Tamale to the front edge of the plate and over the doily.
- Apply 3 coats of SC-74 Hot Tamale to the back of the heart plate.
- Remove the paper doily when the color begins to dry. If it does not come off in a large piece, let it dry longer.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06.
- Apply the stencil and using SC-15 Tuxedo and CB-404 #4 Pointed Round paint in the letters.
