Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 White to top of the coaster holder, the coaster holder bottom, inside and out, and the center of the coasters. Allow to dry.
- Punch out 2 large and 2 small flowers. Wet the flowers and place on the holder lid. Press with a paper towel to absorb any excess water.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of FN-040 Pumpkin to the entire holder lid, except the knob. When the last coat of glaze looses its shine, remover the paper flowers.
- Using a CB-404 #4 Pointed Round apply 3 coats of SC-77 Glo-Worm to the flower centers.
- Punch out the rectangle shapes, wet the rectangles and place on the holder bottom and lid knob to create a checkerboard pattern. Press with a paper towel to absorb any excess water.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-11 Blue yonder to the outside of the holder bottom and the lid knob. When the last coat of glaze looses its shine, remove the paper.
- With ½" masking tape, tape the outer edges of the coaster centers.
- Cut out 2 squares for each of the coasters. Wet the paper and place on the coasts to have 2 squares oposite each other in white. Press with a paper towel to absorb any excess water.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of the following colors to the squares on the coasters: FN-040 Pumpkin and SC-77 Glow-Worm. Remove the paper after the last coat of glaze looses its shine. Allow to dry.
- With ½" masking tape, tape the inside edges of the coasters centers.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-11 Blue Yonder to the edges and backs of all the coasters. Remove the tape after the last coat of glaze looses its shine. Allow to dry.
- Stilt all pieces and fire to shelf cone 06.
- Apply 4 cork dots to all the coasters.
