Sept 2006 - Hey Mom I Have a Box of Candy to Sell

Oh boy! Another child group activity, another box of candy to sell. It sends shivers down the old spine to see your child walk in the door, beaming, smiling, and holding a $40 box of candy. If you're like us, you still have last year's candy hidden somewhere in the house. But for that next occasion we'll be ready. We'll strike back with our own fundraiser counter punch.

Candy Storage Container

  • Concept - create a customized jar, such as our MB-125 Ruffle Ware Biscotti Jar, for the fundraising team, group, or organization.
  • Program Options - offer to donate a percentage of your fees to the organization.
  • Event Options - schedule a group party at your studio or at a site of their choosing. To really be proactive let's schedule a meeting with team organizers BEFORE they hand out the candy!
  • Promotion Options - if meeting prior to the fundraiser announcement, prepare a decorated sample of the jar for that group. After negotiations, prepare a flier for the group to distribute. Include an image of the decorated piece (if you have a website , create a page link to this event.
  • Project Options - bring Add-ditions shapes that suit the group's interests. Stamps will work as well - you just won't make as much money as you would using Add-ditions :)

Worst Case Scenario - create the Biscotti Jar and place it on your studio counter display. Buy 4 -get the 5th free!"
