Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Place some FN-004 Red into a small cup and add a little bit of water to slightly dilute it (about 3 parts glaze and 1 part water). It should be the consistency of a coffee cream. Pour this into the vase and roll around to completely coat the interior of the vase. Drain out the excess glaze and keep vase inverted until it has lost its shine. Wipe off any glaze from the outside using a damp sponge. Allow to dry.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of FN-001 White to the outside of the Vase. Allow to dry.
- Trace on the design using AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper.
- Using the AC-001 Red Stroke & Coat Accent, outline the entire design.
- Using a CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 coat of SC-11 Blue Yonder to the head and wings.
- Using a CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 coat of CG-718 Blue Caprice to the head and wings, followed by a coat of SC-11 Blue Yonder.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply to the alternating stripes with SC-6 Sunkissed and SC-78 Lime Light.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-6 Sunkissed to the beak.
- Using a CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 coat of SC-78 Lime Light to the leaves, then 1 coat of CG-717 Pistachio, then 1 coat of SC-78 Lime Light.
- For the hearts, apply 1 coat of SC-74 Hot Tamale with a CB-404 #4 Pointed # 4 Round.
- To some of the hearts, using a CB-404 #4 Pointed Round, apply 1 coat of CG-968 Peppermint Twist.
- Apply 1 coat of SC-74 Hot Tamale over the Peppermint Twist using the CB-404 #4 Pointed Round.

- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply 1 coat of SC-14 Tuxedo to the eye center.
