Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using the RB-144 #4 Reflections Soft Fan and FN-016 Harvest Orange, apply 3 coats of glaze to the entire piece of bisque.
- Using the same brush, apply 1 liberal coat of SC-16 Cotton Tail on the child's hand and part of the wrist which creates the neck.
- Press arm and thumb down on to the plate with the thumb up to serve as the ear. Allow to dry.
- Paint 1 coat of SC-25 Crackerjack Brown on the fingers from the lower knuckle crease down. Immediatley follow with a coat of SC-14 Java Bean over ¾ of the fingers.
- Line up thumb with the ear previously created and press fingers down to create the muzzle.
- Using the little finger, press SC-14 Java Bean on to the ear. Using the forefinger, dot the eye.
- While the hand is drying create the bamboo.
- Using the AC-213 Sponge-on-a-Stick dab SC-26 Green Thumb on to the ST-119 Bamboo Stamp. Press stamp down on to the plate. Re-apply glaze each time you stamp.
- Fill the AC-223 Large Writer Tip bottle with SC-15 Tuxedo. With a pencil lightly sketch where you want the stripes. Color in the lines with the SC-15 Tuxedo. With the same bottle of SC-15 Tuxedo, outline the zebra body and eyes.
- Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to cone 06
