Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coast of FN-001 White to the book and 3 coats to the pages.
- Punch out 28 1-inch paper circles from the paper punch.
- Wet the paper circles and stick them the top and bottom border of the book so that half of the punch shows, so it will look like a scallop.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply a heavy coat of SC-94 Curry Around to the front and back of the book and SC-88 Tu Tu Tango to the binding.
- Lay the lace in the glaze while the glaze is wet, and brush back over with the same color that is under the lace.
- Allow to dry so that the color will not come off when you touch it.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 2 coats of SC-93 Honeydew List over the lace. Remove the lace after the second coat.
- Using a CB-106 # Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral into the scallops.
- Apply 1 coat of SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral to the flowers, and the top section of the bird.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply SC-15 Tuxedo to the feet, beak and eye.
- Using a CB-110 #10/0 Liner, apply SC-10 Teal Next Time to the vines, and using a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 2 coats of SC-9 Jades to the leaves, tipping with SC-10 Teal Next Time.
- Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, apply 3 coats of SC-89 Cutie Pie Coral to the inside of the book.
- Thin SC-94 Curry Around to brush over the pages, wipe off excess. Allow to dry.
- Stilt and fire to shelf cone 06/05.
