1. Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque.  Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
2. Center the pizza stone on a banding wheel. Make a center circle about 7 ½” diameter and a boarder about 1” wide in from the edge of about ¼” edge.
3. Sketch on the letters for a choice of your favorite saying (LIKE A BIG PIZZA PIE…).
4. With SG-401 Designer Liner, outline all the letters and create different doodles inside each letter.
5. Using a CB-604 #4 Soft Fan and a CB-106 #6 Script Liner, apply 3 coats of SW-120 Northern Woods to the center of the pizza stone and to the 1” border. Allow to dry.
6. Apply 3 coats of SW-252 Blue Opal over the SW-120 Northern Woods. Allow to dry.
7. Apply 2 coats of SW-002 Matte Clear to the letter area and the outer rim of the pizza stone.
8. Make sure there is no glaze (dry footed) on the back of the pizza stone.  Stoneware can not be stilted when glaze firing
