- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- Thicken SW-302 Rutile Wash with AC-310 Silk Screen Medium with a palette knife, till it is the consistency of peanut butter.
- Familarize yourself with Mayco Silk Screen instructions. Lay the DSS-104 large chevron on the dinner plate and apply the mixture to the center of the screen and work out towards the edges (use a rubber squeegee or your fingers). Repeat this process for the small stripe from DSS-105 Stripe pattern on the bowl and mug, and the small chevron on the salad plate.
- When dry, thicken the black glaze of choice from the list above with AC-310 Silk Screen Medium, and screen the various animals on the surfaces of the mug, bowl, dinner and salad plate. Use your finger to screen these pieces.
- Brush one coat of black glaze to the rim edge of the plates, and mug, and the top section of the bowl, and on the edge of the mugs, handle.
- When dry, brush two coats of SW-128 Cordovan on the backside of the plates, inside of the bowl and mug and on the handle, with CB-604 Soft Fan.
- Brush the same areas with two coats of SW-131 Birch. Take care to brush in the direction of the shape.
- Brush two even and thin coats of SW-002 Matte Clear over the tops of the plates, and the outside of the bowl and mug.
- Wipe away any glaze from the bottom off all the ware, then fire to shelf cone 6, medium speed.
