Instructions
- Begin with properly fired shelf cone 04 bisque. Moisten a clean sponge and wipe bisque to remove any dust.
- With your CB-604 #4 Soft Fan, paint 1 coat of SC-54 Vanilla Dip all over the bisque.
- Then load the CB-604 #4 Soft Fan with SC-54 Vanilla Dip and dip the tip of the fan brush into SC-5 Tiger Tail and dab randomly over the piece of bisque. Repeat this process with SC-14 Java Bean (carefull not to apply too much.)
- Using the CB-202 #2 Detailer, load in SC-14 Java Bean and lightly add fine lines like you get with marble, pushing your brush down occasionally so the marble lines look thicker in places.
- When dry, draw on your leaves or trace on with AC-230 Clay Carbon Paper.
- Leaves - Paint 2 times as instructed below.
- Yellow Leaves - Using the CB-406 #6 Pointed Round pat SC-24 Dandelion on the inside of the leaves, then pat SC-5 Tiger Tail around the inside edge. Make sure you blend the two colors together where they meet. With some SC-14 Java Bean and a little SC-73 Candy Apple dab on some of the edges to give it some interest. Outline in SC-15 Tuxedo and paint in some veins with the CB-202 #2 Detailer.
- Green Leaves - Paint the same as the yellow leaves but use SC-27 Sour Apple on the center and SC-52 Toad-ily Green on the ouside. Pat SC-14 Java Bean on the inside edge of leaf and place veins with fine liner brush. Outline around the leaves with SC-15 Tuxedo.
- Yellow/Orange Leaves - Paint the same as above but using SC-24 Dandelion in the center and SC-73 Candy Apple on the edges.
- Orange Leaves - Use SC-75 Orange-A-Peel in the center and SC-73 Candy Apple on the outside.
- With the CB-406 #6 Round and SC-14 Java Bean diluted down with a little water, go around the leaves just patting the brush in the creases of the leaves, giving shading and depth.
- Using SC-15 Tuxedo place a band around the top of the mug and around the plate. Paint the handle of the mug with SC-15 Tuxedo.
- Apply S-2101 Crystal Clear Brushing and allow to completely dry. Fire at cone 06
